August 2020 - ongoing

I am the co-creator, producer and host of the workshop series dgtl fmsnm FACE, executed in cooperation with HAU hebbel am ufer.

My responsibilities include curating the episodes, developing their content, moderating them with different co-hosts as well as organising the technical setup and managing resources & budgets.

The workshops address the ever evolving political role of the human FACE from different discursive and technological angles. They are executed as a hybrid format with both a live audience and online participants. So far, five episodes have taken place, with more coming in the months to follow:

ep01_FACE your cover (September 2020)
ep02_FACE your filter (October 2020)
ep03_FACE your way (November 2020)
ep04_FACE your bodies (February 2021)
ep05_FACE your features (April 2021)

January 2020 - March 2020

I worked as assistant producer for the dgtl fmnsm episode HOT MESS, part of the HAU Hebbel Am Ufer spy on me #2 festival.

My responsibilities included communicating with both HAU and involved artist, managing budgets and contracts, designing and publishing the social media strategy and co-hosting GLEAM with Shawné Michaelain Holloway , a desktop-show that served as the centrepiece of the episode, featured different artists and art forms and was live-streamed on YouTube.

The whole program was successfully rescheduled to take place online in a matter of days in march 2020, right as the world was forced into the first covid19 lockdown.

My artistic practice includes performances that I would have previously called “drag” and now describe as externalised introspection because they serve me as a way to reflect and deflect my own perceived performativity as a non-binary trans person in a patriarchal and oppressive society.

They are heavily influenced by pop-culture and center around topics of transition and identity finding and also aim to serve as political commentary on issues such as toxic masculinity and cis-normativity.

My latest performance is available to be viewed on my instagram profile (igtv)
